Slide time

We ventured out to Heritage Park this weekend. We like going there because it usually isn't busy and Brooklyn can play without getting ran over by older kids. She went down a tube slide by herself for the first time and loved it. We really enjoyed seeing her smile with delight.

Music in the Park

This past Friday the weather was perfect so we headed out to our town's free concert. Sam Bush was playing. He is a blue grass artist and they put on a good show. Brooklyn did some dancing and clapping and enjoyed herself.

It got chilly once the sun went down. We stayed for a bit longer but had to leave as we were all wearing shorts.

Steve, Liz, Logan and Olivia came to up to visit 4th of July weekend. Their first night here, we had dinner at T-Rex Cafe. There is only two in the country, one in Orlando and at the Legends shopping center.

After dinner, Logan and Olivia were excited to give Brooklyn some birthday gifts. Thanks guys!

4th of July we were off to Union Station and Crown Plaza Center to check out the sights and trains. Brooklyn got to see all the empty coal train cars roll by.

We also had a picnic and played in the fountains.

We were really glad the Wilhelms were able to come up and visit. Brooklyn enjoyed hanging out with her cousins. Looking forward to next time.
