Father Daughter Bonding

Val signed Charlie and Brooklyn up for Parent Tot swim lessons. This Tuesday was their first lesson. Brooklyn hasn't been in the pool since last summer so we were not sure how well she was going to do. We thought she did pretty good.

She loves to splash!

There is a lot of singing in the class. Look at the smile on Brooklyn's face.

Colors

Brooklyn is learning her colors!

She can name blue, red, orange, yellow, green, and white. She can pick out the correct color with her crayons and blocks.

Big Girl Bed

Brooklyn is in the process of moving to a big girl bed. It is a toddler bed and to make it exciting for her we tell her it is what big girls sleep in:) We put it up two weeks ago and she has taken 5 naps in it so far. The first night it was up, she wanted to go to bed in it. Even after falling out she still wanted to sleep in it. 4 hours into bedtime, she told us she wanted to sleep in the crib. We were so proud of her!

This was her first nap ever in the bed. It is not a good picture but Val didn't want to wake her up.

After falling out a couple times, we moved it up against the wall and put a pillow on the side. She always seems to roll one way and so far it has worked out. If you look closely you can see her bear and rabbit, she doesn't go to sleep without him:)
