Cousin Love

Brooklyn loves her cousins.

You can just see how excited she gets when she gets to see them.
Brooklyn had the pleasure of seeing her cousins two weekends in a row:) Here she is with Sophia and Gretchen. Sophia is 9 months older and Gretchen is 6 months younger.

Anyone who has spent some time with Brooklyn knows she LOVES to read books. Here is Mema Love reading a book to Maura, Sophia and Brooklyn.

Brooklyn loves all her cousins especially Maura. She has learned to say her name and always asks for her, whether we are down in Osceola or not.

Thanks Aunt Anna for watching Brooklyn a couple hours this past weekend. We are sure she had a blast!

Brooklyn's Favorite Song of the Month

When Brooklyn is in the mood to sing, there is no stopping her. She sings, snaps and dances to the song. When she hears this song in the car, she sings pretty loud.

Keeping Busy

Brooklyn has been keeping pretty busy lately. She has swim lessons twice a week. She goes to the church nursery on Tuesday mornings while Val attends MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and she just started attending Parents Day Out.

One of her favorite parts of swimming is jumping off the wall.

Today was Brooklyn's first day of Parents Day Out. She'll be going once a week. We wanted to have her start before little Warren gets here. Brooklyn was super excited about her new lunch box and wanted to carry it herself. It had her favorite cartoon character on it, Little Mermaid. They said she did great and Brooklyn seemed like she had fun.

We have let Brooklyn experiment with paint in the last couple weeks. We started with watercolors and she loved it.

She does get a bit messy but that is why soap and water were invented. :)

Here is our personal favorite of her works so far. It is hanging on the dining room wall.

We have also branched out to finger painting. She had a blast.

With Brooklyn enjoying painting so much, we are brainstorming on the next art project for her.
