Weekend Fun

Our weekend was busy but a lot of fun. Saturday we headed to the Kansas City Zoo. Now we have lived her for six years now and this is our second visit. The kids loved it. It is a pretty big zoo so we only toured the Africa section. But we plan to go back again soon, we went ahead and got a membership. The polar bears, lions and elephants were a big hit with the kids.

We went to church Sunday morning. The kids always love going to see their friends. In the afternoon, we headed to a close park for a hayride and smores! The kids had a blast with their friends. We had fun as well.

Miss Independent

Stella insisted in feeding herself her yogurt today. Now I am not the mom who feeds her kids messy foods and lets them get gross, no way. But today Stella was insisting on feeding herself her yogurt. To be honest, I just wanted her to stop whining! We gave in and she had a blast. Needless to say, she needed a bath after lunch.

Happy Halloween!

We had a wonderful Halloween this year. Brooklyn was the Pink Power Ranger, Warren was Captain America and Stella was the cutest mouse EVER. We went trick-or-treating with the neighbor kids and wore them out.

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

I have been inspired by the amazing Carrie Stark to start blogging once in a while. I realized I have not posted since before Stella-yikes!

This past weekend we headed to the pumpkin patch! It has become a tradition the kids look forward to.

Of course we had to see how tall the kids are.

Charlie and the kids on the Yellow Brick Road Train Ride. Brooklyn and Warren enjoyed spotting all the Wizard of Oz characters along the way.
Warren hardly ever tries new food. Almost never. He tried nachos and loved them!
